Care for How You Glow—and How You Move
Chelsea Heffner is a
Board-Certified Physician Assistant, Boise native, and the founder of
The Citrine Garden Medical Aesthetics & Wellness. Her boutique practice brings natural aesthetic medicine and regenerative orthopedic care together under one roof—with every consultation and treatment personally provided by Chelsea.
These services may address different concerns, but they share the same philosophy:
prevention over correction,
thoughtful regeneration, and
care designed for the long run.
Aesthetic Medicine
Personalized neuromodulators, SkinPen microneedling, chemical peels, and customized skincare plans support healthier-looking skin and natural results that never feel frozen, filtered, or overdone.
Regenerative Orthopedic Medicine
PRP treatments for select joints, tendons, and musculoskeletal concerns draw on Chelsea’s extensive orthopedic background and focus on supporting healing, movement, and long-term function.

Over the years, I’ve worked with athletes, new parents, professionals, and people of all ages who simply want to feel at home in their body again. What I’ve learned is that small, consistent steps make the biggest difference.
This isn’t a clinic with a waiting room full of people. It’s one-on-one care, focused on you, in a space where you can feel supported and heard.
About Chelsea
Medicine Shaped My Approach. My Own Skin Made It Personal.
I have spent more than eleven years in medicine—most of them in orthopedic surgery, where I learned that the best results come from steady hands, strong evidence, and listening longer than you think you should.
My transition into skin health was personal.
After years of living with rosacea and trying prescription after prescription that never quite got it under control, I found myself drawn more deeply into the work I had quietly loved all along: understanding the skin, asking better questions, and finding solutions rooted in real science.
That experience changed the way I care for my patients.
I know how frustrating it can feel when your skin does not respond the way you expect—or when you are given another product or prescription without a clear explanation of why.
I also know how overwhelming the aesthetics world can be when every trend, treatment, and social media post seems to offer a different answer.
My role is to help make it simpler.
I want you to understand your skin, feel confident in your options, and receive care that supports your features rather than changing what makes you recognizable.
The goal is to look rested, healthy, radiant, and completely like yourself.

Skin Health First
Skin is the body’s largest organ and deserves the same thoughtful care as every other system. Chelsea considers your products, environment, lifestyle, health, and treatment history—not simply what is visible on the surface.
Natural, Never Overdone
Aesthetic treatments are designed to preserve your expressions and individual features. The goal is to help you look healthy, rested, and refreshed—not noticeably treated.
Regeneration Over Temporary Fixes
Regenerative PRP focuses on supporting the body’s natural healing response rather than simply masking discomfort or relying solely on short-term solutions.
Personalized to You
Every face, skin barrier, joint, and treatment goal is different. Your plan is created around your specific anatomy and needs—not a standard protocol or popular package.

Training & Experience
Education and Medical Background
Chelsea completed her undergraduate education at the College of Idaho before earning her Master of PA Studies from MCPHS University in Boston.
She has spent more than eleven years practicing medicine, with most of her clinical career focused on orthopedic surgery before transitioning into aesthetic medicine, skin health, and regenerative care.
Her surgical and orthopedic experience strengthened her understanding of anatomy, movement, precision, patient safety, clinical decision-making, and realistic treatment planning.
Chelsea continues to approach every concern as a medical provider first—carefully evaluating the patient, the anatomy, the evidence, and the long-term goal before recommending treatment.
Our Treatments
Rooted in Boise
Caring for the Community That Raised Me
I’m a Boise native, and there is something incredibly meaningful about caring for people in the community that shaped me. The Citrine Garden was created to feel warm, personal, and grounded—just like the place I am fortunate to call home.
Outside the practice, you will usually find me hiking, rafting, or looking for my next outdoor adventure. Staying active and connected to the outdoors is part of how I think about health: caring for your skin and joints is not simply about how you look or feel today—it is about helping you keep doing what you love for years to come.

Our Approach
Prevention Over Correction. Longevity Over Quick Fixes.
Look at the Full Picture
Skin is the body’s largest organ and deserves the same thoughtful care as every other system. Chelsea considers external concerns alongside skincare, lifestyle, environment, health history, and other internal factors that may affect the skin.
Preserve What Makes You You
Aesthetic treatment should complement your anatomy and expressions—not erase them. Chelsea’s goal is to help you look rested, healthy, and refreshed while still looking completely like yourself.
Support the Body’s Ability to Regenerate
The same philosophy extends to orthopedic PRP. Rather than focusing only on temporary relief, regenerative care is designed to support the body’s own healing response using platelet-rich plasma prepared from your blood.
Prevent Before You Correct
Chelsea believes the most thoughtful plans support skin quality, movement, and function before concerns become more difficult to address. Your care may combine treatment, prevention, maintenance, and education.
Recommend With Honesty
More treatment is not always better. Chelsea will explain what may help, what may not, and when waiting or choosing another approach is the more responsible recommendation.
